Make a night of it!

At the Wheatsheaf you can get involved in a number of different nights. Monday night is great fun with wonderful renditions of Islands in the Stream by our in-house crooner Helena. There's a very popular quiz night at 8.30pm on a Sunday with prizes and it's free entry too. We serve quality homecooked food, fine ales & wines and we are very proud of our selection of craft gins and various tonics.

Where are we?

The Food

The Family

Clare and Dave Hennah are the Land Lord & Lady with their son Jon as head chef and Nick as front of house manager. In the 16 years they have been there, the business has flourished and is now a family orientated busy village pub welcoming new friendly faces everyday.

The Wheatsheaf is situated at Junction 23A off the M4 in a small village called Magor. We are the first stop after the Severn bridge so the perfect place to stop for a bite or a quick coffee to break up a long journey into Wales (or out of it)

We serve food 12-3pm & 5-9.30pm daily except Saturday when we are open all day and Sunday where we only serve our amazing Sunday lunch 12-3pm. Try our earlybird menu available until 7pm! 2 courses for £12.00.
